Checkatrade Let Us Down

We were utterly reliant on Checkatrade to discover us a competent contractor for our renovation project. We signed up and listed our needs, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.

We are extremely disappointed with Checkatrade and would urge using their platform. There are plenty of alternatives out there. We regret having wasted our resources on this ineffective service.

We trusted Checkatrade to connect us with qualified tradespeople. Little did we know we were walking into a disaster.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade prioritizes their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you trust Checkatrade. Their whole scheme is designed to rip you off. They promise the world but they a load of rubbish. You'll be left high and dry and nobody at Checkatrade will give a damn.

It all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the fine print. Then, there's the terrible support that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to raise an issue, but it's like talking to a wall.

So, avoid them like the plague of Checkatrade if you value your sanity.

Did Checkatrade Rip Us Off?

We thought we were doing the right choice by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so legitimate with their qualified traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Right away, the customer service from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to discuss the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up getting ripped off by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's customer service was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling frustrated and suggest looking elsewhere for your tradesman needs.

We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.

My experience with Checkatrade was a complete shambles. I engaged a trader through their platform to complete some crucial home repairs. They looked legitimate at first, but it turned out a horrendous ordeal.

Even though I sent the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Getting a response ceased. It's been a truly agonizing period, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.

The platform itself has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They offered no solutions. It feels like I've been robbed.
